NITIE Mumbai to organize EnVision 2010 on Environment & CSR

NITIE Mumbai is organizing EnVision 2010 on Friday, August 20, 2010 in Mumbai. In this event, corporate delegates and the students of the B-School will discuss the theme 'Vital role of Corporate Sustainability in today's business scenario'.

[ClickPress, Fri Aug 20 2010] National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is organizing EnVision 2010 on Friday, August 20, 2010 in Mumbai. EnVision is an event organized by Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety and Environment Management (PGDISEM), which stresses on environmental safety and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. In this event, corporate delegates and the students of the B-School will discuss the theme ‘Vital role of Corporate Sustainability in today’s business scenario’.
The event will have ‘Sustainability Forum’, a corporate panel discussion; ‘Let’s Go Green’, an inter college case study competition; ‘EnQUIZitive’, an Enviro Business quiz and ‘Panorama’, a photography contest.
The ‘Sustainability Forum’ will discuss on the topic, ‘Green Products – from Rhetoric to Reality’. The panelists who will discuss on this topic are Ganesh Tripathy, Head EHS and Sustainability, South Asia, Unilever; Sachin Khandelwal, Senior General Manager, ICICI Bank, Head -Go Green Initiative; Niranjan Khatri, General Manager, Welcomgroup, ITC, Head– Enviro Initiatives; Uday Bhaskar, General Manager, Environment, Essar Group; Vijay Khole, General Manager, Research & Development, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. and Sudhir Chavan, Principal Consultant, PE International.
The Preliminary rounds of the ‘Let’s Go Green’, ‘EnQUIZitive’ and ‘Panorama’ have already taken place. The final rounds of which will be held on August 20. “Teams from NITIE Mumbai, FMS Delhi, NMIMS Mumbai and IIM Kozhikode have left the rest far behind to reach the finals of ‘Let’s Go Green’. ‘EnQUIZitive’ will see teams from IIM Shillong, FMS Delhi, IIFT Delhi, MICA and NITIE Mumbai compete against each other to win the unique quiz that combines aspects of environment and business. The theme for ‘Panorama’ is ‘Water – Facets and Forms’,” mentions NITIE Mumbai.
