Business Link Urges Yorkshire Businesses To ‘Get Blogging’

Business Link York and North Yorkshire is encouraging businesses and entrepreneurs to have their say on a new blog designed to give people starting out in business access to the thoughts and experiences of some of the region’s biggest business successes.

The new Business Link blog - www.itsmybusiness.info - launches this week and features entries from some of the region’s most enterprising and inspiring people. Business Link chief executive Helen West is keen for all parts of North Yorkshire to be represented:

“The purpose of the blog is to help North Yorkshire businesses and entrepreneurs discover how other people are coping with the challenges of starting and building a successful business. There’s a huge amount of business expertise across the region and we’d love people to share their experiences with people who are just starting out.

“Starting your own business is very exciting, but it can also be a lonely process. You’re often working in isolation and, while there’s a lot of advice available, sometimes you just want to talk to someone who’s in the same boat as you.

“The North Yorkshire business blog is an interactive resource that anyone can access, with weekly entries from some of North Yorkshire’s top entrepreneurs; real people who are setting up and building their businesses talking about the highs and the lows, the challenges and the rewards.”
