Stevenage’s Aroma Restaurant celebrates 10th anniversary with wine giveaway and discounted meals off
1.5m customers munch their way through 102 tonnes of rice, 27 tonnes of noodles and 7 tonnes of soy sauce
[ClickPress, Tue Feb 06 2007] To help celebrate its 10th anniversary, Aroma Restaurant in Stevenage is giving all its adult customers a complimentary glass of red or white house wine AND a 10% discount off their food bill. The special offer runs for the full week from Sunday 11th March to Saturday 17th March.
Since opening Aroma in Stevenage Leisure Park 17th March 1997, Aroma Director Colin Wong has calculated that 1.5 million customers have consumed around 102 tonnes of rice, 27 tonnes of noodles, 78,000 ducks, 3 million chicken fillets and 7 tonnes of soy sauce.
Colin Wong attributes the success and longevity of Aroma to providing tasty, wholesome food to a consistently high standard in stylish surroundings. “The complimentary wine and discounted menu is our way of saying thank you to our many loyal customers,” he said.
Offering culinary delights from the Far East, Aroma brings the best of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Singaporean and Malaysian cooking to Stevenage with incredibly low prices starting at only £6.80 for adults and £3.40 for children under 140cm. There is a huge selection of 30 dishes for lunch and 60 for dinner.
Aroma’s fantastic Tepanyaki menu allows you to select your own ingredients and enjoy watching them being cooked to your liking before your eyes. Choose from slices of sirloin steak and chicken, king prawns, squid, mussels and shrimps, or a selection of vegetables and noodles.
In those 10 years the group has grown to a chain of 8 Aromas – two in London (Shepherd’s Bush and Wood Green), Basildon, Luton, Northampton, Braintree
and Hemel Hempstead, plus the original in Stevenage.
Aroma Group has also recently opened, Alisan, it’s flagship dining venue adjacent to the new Wembley Stadium complex, which is receiving rave reviews from leading restaurant critics for its fine modern Cantonese cooking.
