Web User Magazine Rates TheRateTart

Web User magazine this week awarded TheRateTart.com 4 out of 5 stars in their regular review of new and emerging web sites.

[ClickPress, Sun Feb 25 2007] Web User magazine this week awarded TheRateTart.com 4 out of 5 stars in their regular review of new and emerging web sites.

Commenting on the review, Chris Neiger of TheRateTart.com said “We're proud to have received such a positive review from one of the most authoritative commentators on hot new UK web sites”.

“Our goal is to overturn the negative and self serving image of Rate Tarts perpetrated by big firms. Why should customers show blind loyalty to companies who show them none? Its common practice for companies to discriminate against loyal customers by locking them out of the better deals offered to new customers only. Equally, banks waste no time in pushing up mortgage interest rate in response to rate rise, but are far slower in passing on the benefits to their savings customers. Rate tarts are smart, educated consumers who use their knowledge to make their money work for them.”

By working with both big brand names and award winning smaller companies such as Madasafish Broadband, TheRateTart.com helps customers to find a deal that's right for them.

Background

TheRateTart.com provides comparisons for loans, savings, bank accounts,
mortgages, insurance, broadband and trading accounts as well as credit
cards. Without exception, the finance offers displayed on the website are
sourced from FSA approved and regulated companies.

TheRateTart.com is the sole distribution channel of Rate Tart Ltd, which is
run by a team who have all worked with the products sold through
TheRateTart.com for at least the last decade.

The term 'Rate Tart' was first coined by banks to describe people who save
money by moving debt around to take advantage of introductory credit card
deals. The term was intended to pour scorn on people with little brand
loyalty.

The team behind TheRateTart sees things differently. In our view, Rate Tarts are smart consumers who understand what products offer and how they work. We want to shake things up a bit by expanding this concept to more than just credit cards.
