A best man is delighted with the standard with the karting circuits in Blackpool as he strives to organise an unforgettable Stag Do for his best friend.
[ClickPress, Mon Mar 05 2007] Blackpool sees more Stag Parties descend upon on it than all other cities in the North West and for Phillip Carter and his friends it was no different as they arrived to sample the delights of the fun-loving town. “We were looking for a venue that not only had plenty to do at night but also somewhere were we could go karting as we decided that we wanted to to do something exhilarating for our mates send off and karting definitely fitted the bill,” explains Phillip as he sorts through the photos of their rip-roaring karting event.
Blackpool is home to one of the North West’s premier karting circuit which was much to the delight of Phillip and the rest of his Stag Group, “we were looking at a website called Go Ballistic Karting and we were delighted to see that Blackpool had a 300 metre circuit and used 200cc karts and, as none of us had been karting before, we couldn’t wait to line up on the starting grid!” enthuses Phillip as he recollects the event, “Go Ballistic Karting set us up on a Grand Prix Elite package and we couldn’t believe just how fast the karts went! I’m glad to report that the Stag secured a demoralising last place finish!”
Karting in Blackpool is fast becoming the town’s most popular Stag Party event and Marketing Director of Go Ballistic Karting, Robert Goodliffe believes that it isn’t hard to see why. “Blackpool is undoubtedly one of our most popular karting venues because the standard of the circuit is so high and the facilities at the track really are second to none. It is extremely popular with Stag Groups but also kids karting parties and work events are often booked on at this cracking circuit,” says Goodliffe of why Blackpool and karting are a well suited match!
As for the Stag Do, well, that was a resounding success (barring the sore heads the next morning). “The Stag Party was excellent and the Groom had an awesome time at the karting track and propping up the bar! Everybody was absolutely blown away by the sheer exhilaration of karting and we can’t wait to go back again! Blackpool will probably be our first port of call but we quite fancy testing out karting tracks all across the country!” says Phillip as he revels in the glory of being Best Man and organising such a lengendary Stag Do!
