StoresOnline to provide judges, Internet café and entertainment lounge for more than 700 students at the Utah DECA Career Development Conference

The Utah DECA Career Development Conference is a statewide competition for high school students who are enrolled in DECA and interested in pursuing careers in marketing, management and entrepreneurship. The Career Development Conference offers students more than 30 competitive categories including e-commerce business plan, sports and entertainment marketing, apparel and accessories and business law and ethics, among many others. Conference participants benefit from real world project planning and execution, professional direction and mentoring during conference judging and an opportunity to make new friends with students who share a kindred entrepreneurial spirit.

“At the conference, StoresOnline is providing a fun area where students and advisors can mingle and relax during ‘down time’ at the competition,” Powell said. “Conference participants can choose from playing Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games on projection-sized screens or enjoy one of six laptops equipped with Internet access and a trial version of StoresOnline’s e-commerce platform.”
