[ClickPress, Thu Mar 08 2007] Tired of using that flip chart but confused by complex presentation tools? Hitachi Interactive Solutions has the answer – Plug and Present, easy-to-use software that requires no specialist knowledge, training or installation. Supplied on a USB stick, Plug and Present enables the user to simply plug straight into the computer and start presenting immediately.
Plug and Present gives greater visual impact with the facility to write, colour and highlight specific points to focus the audience’s attention. During group discussions, you can agree ideas and alterations to designs, documents and imagery and save the changes for immediate email distribution. This function is ideal for today’s split-site and large multi-national companies.
Alex Goudge, Marketing Manager at Hitachi Interactive Solutions, comments: “There’s increasing demand in the corporate sector for AV products that enhance the communications experience, improve attention levels in meetings and streamline training. But Hitachi’s research shows that one of the key barriers to companies purchasing whiteboards is that many staff don’t want to grapple with complex software. We have designed Plug and Present to be easy to use. It takes the pain out of presenting – just plug in the USB stick and you’re in business!”
For companies who already own a Hitachi whiteboard, Plug and Present is the ideal accessory to simplify the business of presenting. The software can also be purchased as a package with any Hitachi Interactive Whiteboard.
Hitachi whiteboards can also be used as conventional boards, making the most out of office wall space and ensuring that they can be put to good use with or without technology.
For more experienced users, Hitachi whiteboards come complete with powerful, built-in conferencing software, which facilitates communication between up to 50 interactive whiteboards. The board can be linked to other whiteboards in real-time and over limitless distances, enabling users to communicate in data, voice and video across the world. For international companies, this type of communication facility is ideal. All the data and documentation can be displayed and annotated in real-time, saving business people valuable time and money travelling to meetings or training sessions.
Plug and Present is available from Hitachi Interactive Solutions from £200. The 77-inch Hitachi Interactive Whiteboard including Plug and Present costs from £1,300.
