Kauto Star To Repeat Denman Demolition Job And End Punter Misery
Kauto Star is set to repeat the demolition job handed out by Denman to give punters a fighting chance to claw some hard earned cash back from the bookies.
[ClickPress, Thu Mar 15 2007] The Cheltenham Festival has proven to be very difficult this year for punters, JumpingJockey.com have reviewed the weeks action so far and in particular the 'bankers' which failed to deliver.
With the exception of 'Denman The Destroyer', as he is called by the JumpingJockey.com team, the other bankers of the week failed to deliver in what has been a bitterly disappointing festival for punters.
Of the many tips this week, JumpingJockey.com review the 'bankers' and how they faired;
Detroit City, generally regarded as a sure thing, he beat just about every top class hurdler around or he beat one that beat other top class hurdlers. Detroit City has no fear and the form was rock solid. Unfortunately, he simply could not get into the race, the jockey commented that he was beaten before the first hurdle and was not right. Subsequent tests showed no issues or ailments, a complete mystery for sure.
Well Chief, fell very early on, a top class chaser on the verge of greatness and again another considered to be a banker for punters.
Denman 'The destroyer', took the race by the scruff of the neck from start to finish and won, easily. He ran and jumped like a banker a should, never giving a a moments worry to punters and their hard earned cash. As it stands, it looks liek the only horse that can beat him is Kauto Star and if fit, Kicking King.
Black Jack Ketchum, like Well Chief, fell very early on, a bitterly disappointing run, as predicted by the JumpingJockey.com Team, the race was won by Inglis Drever without BJK, it was a two horse race if both ran, one cant help feeling sorry for BJK, but at the same time, everyone is glad to see the great Inglis Drever back fit and running. BJK will have his day.
Kauto Star, with so many fallers and Kauto Star apparently not the best jumper around, if you believe the nay sayers, one cant help but think he's vulnerable, however Kauto Star has one thing in his favour, he's learned how not to fall. He can go over over fences or through them. Its his race to lose so long as he stays on his feet. Horse racing needs a new hero and if Kauto Star can deliver, he will surely be that emulating the great Desert Orchid.
Friday is the last day of the festival, and the biggest with the Gold Cup being run at 3:15pm (GMT).
