U.S. Delegation Participating in a Mission on Biofuels in France From April 3 to 6

Like many other countries, the future of France’s and the United States’ energy independence increasingly relies on the use of biofuels.

[ClickPress, Mon Mar 19 2007] To carry on this international dialogue, the French Embassy in the U.S. and the French Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Industry, have invited a U.S. delegation to participate in a Biofuels Mission to be held in France, April 3 to 6.

The trip will include a unique Biofuels Conference (“Biofuels in the USA: Business Environment and Future Prospects”) on April 4 in Paris, where high-level decision makers from U.S. industrial and governmental organizations will meet with French industry leaders and present an overview of market trends, national policy, and industry needs for U.S. biofuels to a general French audience. The mission will also feature site visits to French industry clusters, research institutes, and other public and private organizations involved in the biofuels industry (April 3, 5, and 6). At these sites American companies and U.S. administration representatives will learn more about the French biofuels sector and assess potential business, science, and technology partnerships with France and Europe.
