About One Child
One Child's mission is to provide for the education, health and overall development of children in developing countries. This is based on the belief that early investment in children displaces negative patterns in a society and is key to sustainable development. Their work is instrumental in eradicating child labour in villages on the Indo-Bangladesh border and focuses on formal and non-formal education, children and women’s health, microfinance and disaster
preparedness. (www.one-child.net)
