WAR IS TOP OF THE CLASS IN GRAPHIC DESIGN

Ware Anthony Rust’s work for leading public school Bryanston has clinched a top award and reinforced the agency’s position as a creative leader in the Eastern region - WAR collected an accolade for its graphic design work at the 2007 Creative East Awards ceremony last night.

[ClickPress, Fri Mar 23 2007] Ware Anthony Rust’s work for leading public school Bryanston has clinched a top award and reinforced the agency’s position as a creative leader in the Eastern region - WAR collected an accolade for its graphic design work at the 2007 Creative East Awards ceremony last night.

Bryanston tasked WAR with the design and production of a prospectus to increase volume and quality of applications for places. As well as reflecting the school’s excellent academic record, the school was keen to have collateral that positioned Bryanston as the first choice for a more rounded education, with an emphasis on arts, music, sports and pastoral care.

WAR created a concept so successful that it is now being considered for other areas of the schools communications, including its website. The ‘Y’ Bryanston boxed set concept, designed by Paul Flowers, has had a dramatic impact and feedback from recipients has been extremely positive. This success showed itself very quickly with a second print run ordered soon after delivery.

Richard Bland, creative director at WAR, said: “We are extremely proud of this award, it speaks volumes for a team who have worked above and beyond the call of duty on the project. It is a great accolade to have client, customer and industry recognise this achievement.”

WAR also received a nomination for the best website design award, for its work with leading spray paint brand, Plasti-kote.

The awards aim to celebrate, recognise and reward the prodigious creative output of the region, and have been created by popular demand following the success of the Creative Norfolk Awards of 2005 and 2006.
