DEM Solutions, the world leading developer of discrete element modeling software solutions, has continued its drive to increase market presence in European and Asian territories with the appointment of Alister Minty to its board of directors.

Minty has joined the company as the role of non-executive director.

Alister Minty brings to DEM Solutions significant experience in strategic sales, planning and business development, currently being the chairman of two technology companies and in charge of his own independent consultancy. He was previously VP Sales at IndigoVision Plc, a Business Group Manager at VLSI Vision Ltd. and an Engineering Project Manager at Racal.
