DirectRooms.com – Kuwait University invites statisticians to its 25th anniversary conference in Marc

The event will provide a platform for practitioners and researchers in the fields of statistic, probability and operations research to share key findings. Visitors will have the opportunity to attend lectures by influential key note speakers who will be in attendance from all over the world.

The event has been organized by Kuwait University and will coincide with the department of Statistics and Operations Research’s 25th anniversary celebrations. Delegates are invited to attend the conference over a three day period between 8th March and 10th March 2011.

The three day event will be focused around two main themes which are Probability and Statistics; covering topics such as computational and applied statistics and distribution theory; and the second theme is Operations Research, which covers topics like production planning and control, simulation, and quality control.

A spectacular social schedule will compliment the conference and delegates will be invited to attend cultural trips such as a visit to The Grand Mosque, Kuwait Museum and The Scientific Centre. Two gala dinners will be held at Kuwait Towers and The Oriental and on the last day guests will be treated to a shopping trip in the Mabarakiya shopping district.
