Egyptian Actor Hany Sallama To Represent Middle East At Swiss Watch Fair

SIHH brings together watch professionals, celebrities and connoisseurs

[ClickPress, Tue Apr 17 2007] Famous Egyptian actor and cine star Hany Sallama will be representing the Middle East at the 17TH Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) from 16th to 22nd April in Geneva. He is visiting the show at the invitation of luxury Swiss watch manufacturer IWC.

SIHH is an event that asserts the position of fine watch making and brings together the luxury watch industry as well as visitors that range from watch professionals to connoisseurs and stars.

Hany started his film career almost a decade back with director Youssef Chahine's company in a film titled Arak Al-Balah and the rest as they say is history - a star was born.

The young actor has several successful films to his credit and has a massive fan following both among males and females, young and old alike with an appeal that exceeds the boundaries of Egypt to capture the hearts of Arabs across the region.

A series of successful films and powerful performances over the years has ensured that Hany has grown in stature to be recognised in the Arab world as a star with immense acting talent.

Leading impulses for the mechanical watch come from IWC. With its 390 employees, the company manufactures these sought-after timepieces. Since the year 2000 IWC has belonged to the watch division of Richemont SA.
