[ClickPress, Thu Apr 19 2007] Vinfolio announced a partnership with Roy Hersh to license his For The Love Of Port content for use in Vinfolio’s online wine store and VinCellar, Vinfolio’s free online cellar management software. Adding nearly 1,000 tasting notes, Vinfolio now has a stable of over 100,000 professional wine reviews available for customers within VinCellar and its online store.
With nearly 1,000 reviews, For The Love Of Port is the only completely independent guide to ports. Published monthly, Hersh provides the kind of detailed and timely coverage on Port, Douro and Madeira, usually reserved for the wines of Bordeaux, Burgundy, and California.
For The Love Of Port scores and reviews will be integrated into Vinfolio wine store. Additionally, Vinfolio customers who subscribe to For The Love Of Port may also access his reviews and tasting notes within their VinCellar accounts. Vinfolio also offers integrated reviews and scores from Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar and Allen Meadow’s Burghound.
"Roy Hersh’s focus and expertise on ports (and Madeira) will be a valuable tool to assist our customers in understanding and appreciating the many different kinds of port. We're excited to add this content to Vinfolio," said Stephen Bachmann, Vinfolio founder and CEO.

About Roy Hersh’s For The Love Of Port
Considered one of the leading Port wine authorities and journalists in the United States, in June 2003, Hersh was one of just two Americans selected by the Port and Douro Wine Institute (IVDP) to be "enthroned" into their "Confraria" (Port wine brotherhood). Following his induction into the Confraria, Roy launched For The Love Of Port (www.fortheloveofport.com), in February of 2004. Three years later, the newsletter now goes to port aficionados in nearly 60 countries with many subscribing to his online database of reviews.
