Alternative Technology is Named VMware-Authorized Training Center

Growing channel market opportunity for virtualization products is enhanced with Alternative Technology education & training services for VMware Software.

Classes will begin throughout select United States and Canadian cities later this month.

Under the agreement, Alternative Technology will provide VMware technical training to its network of 3,000 resellers in the United States and Canada for their own use, or to be resold to their end users. Alternative Technology’s hands-on training course explores VMware Infrastructure 3, the only third-generation virtualization software suite on the market today that enables customers to transform IT service levels, simplify and automate their infrastructure and deploy virtualization pervasively across their entire environments.

VMware Infrastructure 3 is designed to deliver comprehensive virtualization, management, resource optimization, application availability and operational automation capabilities in an integrated offering. VMware Infrastructure 3: Install and Configure is a prerequisite to taking the certification exam and becoming a VMware Certified Professional.
