[ClickPress, Fri Apr 27 2007] A recent survey of Financial Services Discussion Club members found Treating Customers Fairly was the number one priority for UK financial services firms. TCF was highlighted by 86% of respondents.
Financial promotions was seen as next highest priority, cited by 72% of members. The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has recently reported to the industry after completing thematic reviews of financial promotions across different financial verticals.
Customer-centric issues continued to dominate the priorities of club members, with customer communications and brand management similarly scoring highly; both were cited by 59% of respondents.
The survey was carried out by Clearconcepts during April 2007, targeting retail banks and asset managers.
Richard Walbach from Clearconcepts which administrates the club said,
"The FSA has recently begun a review of financial organisations and expects all firms to be at the implementation stage of TCF projects. Benchmarking and exchanging ideas with peers is increasingly important when principles replace rules."
