Karting in Andover!

The indoor Karting circuit in Andover, Hampshire is proving extremely popular amongst Stag and Hen Parties, who are clearly attracted to the speed and thrills of this fabulous activity.

[ClickPress, Wed May 02 2007] When Karl Philips, 34, from Tidworth, was given the task of finding a suitable day time activity for his best friend’s Stag Party celebrations in Andover, he really didn’t know where to start.
“There was a group of ten of us, so I needed something that was going to keep us all entertained – no easy task,” recalls Karl.
After browsing through a number of Stag Party websites, including Stag Nights Out, Karl realized that Karting was immensely popular with both Hen and Stag Parties.
Through Karting Guide, Karl booked his group in at the fabulous indoor circuit at Andover. With a 450 metre circuit and state-of-the-art karts, groups are guaranteed a thrilling session of Karting at the Andover site.
“We had a fantastic day at the circuit. The karts reach some fairly unbelievable speeds and the competitive edge really set the day up a treat!” said Karl.
The karts have amazing capabilities and a full training and safety brief is issued before you head out on to the track, so even if members of your group are karting novices we guarantee they’ll soon be driving like a professional!
Neil Lowe, 39, a HR Manager from Andover, arranged a work’s day out for 11 members of his staff.
“The karting session was absolutely perfect for us. We had a good mix of people, some who’d been karting before and some people who’d never even seen a kart before! By the end of the session, the novices we’re posting some world beating lap times. Unbelievable,” he recalls.
The circuit at Andover is staged indoor, so there is no need to worry about what the all too unpredictable English weather will be doing. Conference facilities are also available at the circuit, making it the ideal, fun environment to hold a company meeting.
Nick Lowe was so impressed with Andover’s facilities that his company now return to the circuit as a calendar event.
“We go back about every three months. The karting sessions are fantastic fun for everybody involved and we find them extremely productive for us as a business. We have some fabulous brainstorming sessions after the fun, and I’m sure that the reason why the sessions are so rewarding is because we are in such a fun atmosphere,” he said.
