Divabetic Gets Sexy with Eye Candy for Diabetes Education

Divabetic, one of the country’s leading health and wellness nonprofits for those living with, at risk of and affected by diabetes, invites the public to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a test of their blood sugar IQ. Visitors to www.divabetic.org can download a free Diva TalkRadio game book edition of Divabetic’s Diabetes Numerology and view the companion video, Sexy Celebs Volume 1, which features celebrity star power to promote diabetes education.

The Diva TalkRadio game book edition of Diabetes Numerology is flashy, fun and, like sugar-free chocolate, extremely addictive. It features the likeness of today’s hot celebrities in steamy and unusual situations with random blood glucose values. The goal is to teach people how to better manage their numbers - blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, weight; grams of carbohydrates, sugar or salt - in any circumstance.

"Diabetes is all about the numbers and for people living with diabetes, there's power in knowing exactly how to deal with them," says Max "Mr. Divabetic" Szadek, co-creator of Diabetes Numerology and founder/executive director of Divabetic, the game's publisher. "For many who have experienced Diabetes Numerology at our live shows – the game has proven to be an engaging way for people to learn about healthy living and to have fun."

The Diva TalkRadio edition of Diabetes Numerology is the latest in a series of three games co-created by Szadek and Jessica Issler, RD, CDE (Norfolk, VA) and designed by Susan McCaslin of Design Monsters (New Haven, CT). In addition to the free game book download, the public can experience Diabetes Numerology on Divabetic’s monthly internet-based radio show, Diabetes Roundtable, which airs live, 6pm (ET), the second Tuesday of every month at www.blogtalkradio.com/divatalkradio1.
