Following on from its recent TV advert and its soon to be aired appearance on the BBC show, DIY SOS, Better Bathrooms has today announced that it has also been featured on a channel 4 show hosted by property expert, Sarah Beeny.

Beeny’s Restoration Nightmare was aired on Channel 4 late last year and was focussed around the renovation of a listed Georgian stately home. The project, dubbed as one of Sarah’s biggest career challenges, took place at Rise Hall in Yorkshire. It was suggested that most sensible thing to do with the property would be to demolish it and rebuild from scratch, but with it being categorised a 2* listed building, this was not possible, so renovation was the only option available.

Better Bathrooms got involved in the project when the company saw an order come through on its online store, www.betterbathrooms.com to be delivered to the Rise Hall property. From that initial order for 2 counter top basins, Better Bathrooms then went on to supply a further 3 stone Travertine basins, 2 extended basin mixers and 2 toilets, making up 2 full bathroom suites.

The show, which has now come to a conclusion, has seen the property undergo a complete transformation and is now not only a family home, but also used for functions such as weddings. A spokesperson for Better Bathrooms said "We were really pleased we could be part of such an exciting project. We think what Sarah and her team have accomplished is extraordinary. To take a property that would otherwise be demolished, but for its heritage, into the stunning home it is today is unbelievable. We are just proud to have played even the smallest part in the project and have hopefully contributed to a little bit of history."
