Avantimobile signs deal with Irish Telecom operator Swiftcall for Ireland distribution

Avantimobile, the UK-based provider of automated low-cost mobile calls, has announced that Swiftcall, is to become the prime distributor for their innovative mobile based low-cost service, in Ireland.

[ClickPress, Thu May 17 2007] Avantimobile, the UK-based provider of automated low-cost mobile calls, has announced that Swiftcall, is to become the prime distributor for their innovative mobile based low-cost service, in Ireland.

Avantimobile provides easy access to low-cost calls for most types of mobile phones on all of the major UK mobile networks, has now extended the service to operate in Ireland. Operated under the “Swifty” brand in Ireland, customers can save up to 85% on many of the more expensive calls, currently charged for by the existing mobile networks. Customers of Swifty, in many cases, can use their existing mobile phones and don’t have to change network contracts or mobile number.

Avantimobile Chief Executive, Tony Lloyd-Weston, said, ”Since our launch in early 2006, we have been focusing our efforts on product development and indirect sales activity. Working with Swiftcall in Ireland is really great news for Irish mobile phone users and extends our market reach to include a mature mobile market, where demands for value for money are well recognised. We have been approached by a number of potential Irish partners, but Swiftcall given their network investment, robust infrastructure, commitment to providing tangible value-for-money services and marketing strategy, were the only choice. We have had many enquiries from other non-UK market distributors who wish to use Avantimobile services to reduce mobile costs, but we need to ensure that the quality of service provided to them is the very best available.”
