DirectRooms.com divulges that Malaga will be the centre of the biggest names in Spanish cinema as actors and directors take part in the city’s annual festival in April.

[ClickPress, Fri Mar 11 2011] Malaga Film Festival 2011 is a celebration of the very best in Spanish cinema and aims to raise awareness for the country’s movie industry while promoting local talent and aspiring actors. This year marks the 14th edition of the event having begun in 1998 and will now run from 26th March to 2nd April 2011 and during that time fans can expect to see a host of celebrities.

One of Spain’s most famous actors, Malaga born Antonio Banderas can regularly be seen making his way along the red carpet and he’ll be joined by many other fans’ favourites. Several actors and directors attend to present the movies and add their own personal insights into how the films were made. Fans can also find plenty of opportunities to catch the autograph of their idols while watching exclusive new film releases.

Throughout the event, as well as full length features visitors attending from Malaga Airport hotels can view documentaries and mini movies which are screened at locations across the city.
