THREE-TIME GRAMMY NOMINEE CREATES LEGENDARY RELEASE

New-Age Music Visionary, David Arkenstone, to release his most ambitious project in years: pairing music inspired by the great Myths of the world and Legendary stories in an experience that is controlled by you, the listener.

It is no wonder that his first original release of 2007 is the most ambitious of his career. On May 22nd, “Myths and Legends,” Arkenstone’s first release of new material on the rising independent record label, Gemini Sun Records, will be available on the shelves of major record retail locations nationwide and around the world. For the first time ever, Arkenstone’s music is available in a three-disk set featuring a listener-controlled audio experience as well as a DVD video featuring fully scored imagery to accompany the music.

“To me, the really special part of this release is the listener-controlled sound source disk,” says Arkenstone, “I’ve always enjoyed taking my listeners on a journey in the mind, and now they can be their own tour-guides.” Each copy of Myths and Legends contains three disks – two CDs and one DVD. One CD is the traditional musical program – a brand new David Arkenstone record, ready for listening in your car, on your home stereo or anywhere else you enjoy music and a getaway from the stressful world. The DVD portion features the same musical program, scoring a video of stunning imagery to take you on the composer’s journey through the magical and mysterious world of Myths and Legends. The third CD is a groundbreaking addition to Gemini Sun Records’ ongoing Audio/Visual Connect Series, offering the listener an additional soundtrack of effects and ambiance to add to either the CD or DVD program – place the CD in another player and hit start to synch different sound effects with different portions of music and have a new experience every time you hear Myths and Legends.

In a time of struggling CD sales at all levels of the music industry, unique products and experiences take the forefront – such as the pairing of music with video at a price very near what you would pay for any new CD.
