K&S ASSOCIATES OF ST. LOUIS AWARDED $12.3 MILLION BUILDING CONTRACT

New additions plus renovations of existing facilities at Henning School in southwest Illinois scheduled for completion in Summer 2008

[ClickPress, Fri May 25 2007] Triad Community Unit School District #2 in southwest Illinois has awarded a $12.3 million contract to K&S Associates, Inc. of St. Louis to construct new 80,000-square-foot additions and also to renovate facilities at C.A. Henning School at 520 East Highway 40. The school is located in fast-growing Madison County about 18 miles east of St. Louis.

A new 72,000-square-foot addition at the school, which serves students in pre-kindergarten through first grade, will provide a new gymnasium, two-story classroom and administrative space. A new 8,000-square foot-addition will offer four new classrooms for Pre-Kindergarten classes. New renovations will include upgrades of the cafeteria kitchen and mechanical/electrical systems as well as new finishes at the school. Project completion is scheduled for summer 2008.
