[ClickPress, Fri Apr 08 2011] The English rock musician will be performing live at the Zala Festivalna Hall venue and it looks to be packed out for an evening of Joe Cocker’s unique musical performances.

As well as rock, Cocker is also famed for his eclectic blues performances, and he is in addition an accomplished actor and composer/songwriter. Cocker came to prominence in the 1960s and his trademark gravelly voice adds an extra and often unexpected dimension to timeless classics.

His cover versions of Beatles songs are especially popular, as are hits of his own such as ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’, ‘Up Where We Belong’ and ‘Unchain My Heart’.

Cocker received a Grammy Award in 1983 for ‘Up Where We Belong’, which also featured Jennifer Warnes.

Cocker’s career has spanned over 50 years and he is one of the biggest as well as one of the most enduring names in the music business. Rolling Stone Magazine ranked him at number 52 in its greatest singers of the world list recently.
Cost of tickets is yet to be announced, but there’s sure to be a big contingent of fans travelling over to Bulgaria’s capital for what promises to be a stunning musical event.
