2007 NCFCA National Championship

Held in Texas for the First Time

[ClickPress, Tue Jun 05 2007] The National Christian Forensics & Communications Association (NCFCA) is hosting its 2007 NCFCA National Championship the week of June 11-15 at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, 900 College Street, Belton TX 76513. http://www.umhb.edu/

The small town of Belton will be invaded by students and their families from all over the nation for a week of strenuous competition. This is the first time in the league's history that Texas will be hosting the NCFCA National Championship. "These students have successfully competed through several layers of qualifying tournaments to receive an invitation to this National championship;” noted the Texas State Representative for the national league.

In the Team Policy division, their subject of debate is NATO. The subject of “whether or not democracy is over valued by the U.S. government," will be debated in the Lincoln Douglas Values division. There will also be fun speeches in the duo interpretations competition and compelling persuasive speeches in the other 11 sections of individual speech events.

More information about this important event is located on the NCFCA website at http://www.ncfca.org/tournaments/2007_Nationals
