Chococo launches Father’s Day gifts and free competition

With Father’s Day fast approaching, award-winning specialist chocolate maker Chococo has solved the problem of what to get Dad with a range of fresh, handmade chocolates designed for the occasion. Chococo is also offering the chance to win a Sports Experience worth £100 (no purchase necessary), with a choice of memorable days out.

[ClickPress, Thu Jun 07 2007] Chococo, a specialist in fresh, handmade chocolates, has launched a range of chocolate gifts to solve the problem of what to get Dad for Father’s Day, Sunday 17th June. Chococo is also offering the opportunity to win a prize any Dad would enjoy – a Sports Experience, worth £100, which offers a wide choice of exciting days out from golfing and sailing to ‘owning’ a race horse for a day.

Chococo’s Father’s Day range comprises 11 different packages ranging from ‘For Dad Only’ selection boxes of award-winning handmade fresh chocolates, to boxes of hand-dipped truffles and personalised giant half-kilo chocolate bars.
There is also a very special ‘Goodie Box of Treats for Dad’ featuring a praline-filled chocolate cigar, along with a generous selection of Chococo fresh chocolates, truffles, bags of milk and dark chocolate slabs, Venezuelan chocolate drops, and ‘dinky dunkers’ which make delicious hot chocolate when dipped in hot milk.

Guaranteed to make a Dad of any age smile, the half-kilo bars are decorated with stars, nuts or berry fruits have messages such as ‘You’re a Star, Dad’ or simply ‘Dad’ hand-piped in white chocolate. These are available in either fairtrade milk chocolate or Tanzanian origin dark chocolate (34% and 75% cocoa solids, respectively) and personalised messages can be added to the nuts and berry fruits bars.

The ‘For Dad only’ selection boxes of mostly dark, spicy and alcoholic fresh chocolates come in two sizes - large and medium, containing 25 and 16 chocolates respectively. Chococo has also included a ‘Dark on dark’ half kilo bar in the Father’s Day range, which is studded with roasted Venezuelan cocoa nibs, dried blackcurrants, raisins and chocolate coffee beans.

Given the extremely high quality of Chococo chocolates and packaging, prices represent good value, starting at £14.95 for a Tasting Set (featuring chocolate drops made with beans grown in different countries), to £39.95 for the all-out ‘Goodie Box of Treats of Dad’. The half-kilo bars are £20.95, or £23.45 if personalised, and the selection boxes start at £16.95.

All the prices include the cost of First Class Recorded Delivery, but Chococo recommend opting for Special Delivery to be on the safe side, especially in hot weather. This costs a very reasonable £2.00.
The Father’s Day gifts can be also be dispatched direct to Dad with a personalised message on a gift tag that Chococo would include when sending them out.

Chococo’s full range of fresh, handmade Father’s Day chocolates is available online at www.chococo.co.uk and orders can be phoned through to 01929 421777. There is also a Chococo store in Swanage, Dorset where the delicious chocolates are actually made.
The Chococo Father’s Day Competition (no purchase necessary to enter) is to answer this question: What is the name of the new chocolate found in the ‘For Dad Only’ selection boxes? Full details of how to enter are on the website www.chococo.co.uk.

The winner, who will be picked at random from the correct answers, can choose from a number of memorable sporting experiences provided by Golden Moments. There is the opportunity to learn a new sport, go sailing, have surfing lessons or even become a racehorse owner for a day.
