Chicago Office Technology Group Now Offers Xerox Products; Becomes Wholly Owned Subsidary of Xerox

Chicago Office Technology Group will now operate under Xerox Corporation after Xerox's recent acquisition of Global Imaging Systems, Inc. COTG will be offering Xerox products while it continues to grow and excel as a company.

[ClickPress, Thu Jun 14 2007] Chicago Office Technology Group now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) and has added Xerox document technology and services to its offerings for customers in Chicago and the surrounding metropolitan area. This follows Xerox’s $1.5 billion acquisition this month of Global Imaging Systems, Inc., Chicago Office Technology Group’s parent company.

Chicago Office Technology Group retains its name and locally focused, independent approach to sales, service and customer support. In addition to current offerings, Chicago Office Technology Group is ramping up to provide a broad range of Xerox systems and supplies. These offerings include Xerox’s launch this year of 16 competitively priced products designed for offices of any size, such as new WorkCentre ® multifunction devices that print, copy, fax and scan as well as Phaser® solid ink color printers and multifunction devices.
