Jaga Heating Products has today announced that the baroque-styled Heatwave radiator – designed by the company together with acclaimed Dutch designer Joris Laarman – is now available in the UK.

Proving that decoration and functionality do not have to be mutually exclusive, the Jaga Heatwave provides a comfortable warmth. Yet it also can be the flamboyant centre-piece of any room design.

Made from lightweight concrete and aluminium reinforced by glass fibre, the Jaga Heatwave is an innovative modular decorative radiator designed for use with LPHW heating system, comprising up to four interconnecting shapes that can be arranged and extended to form highly individual designs.

About Joris Laarman:
Joris Laarman studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven before he graduated cum laude in 2003. Within a year he set up his own design studio Joris Laarman Laboratory where innovation, aesthetics, freedom and imagination play a major role in his designs. He works with internationally known companies and institutes, such as Flos, Artecnica, Droog Design, DSM, Swarovski, Arco, Nissan, Domus, Fabrica and IMM Cologne. Furthermore he is a visiting lecturer at the Design Academy Eindhoven and the Architectural Association in London. In 2004 Joris Laarman won the Interior Innovation Award 2004 of the International Furniture Fair in Cologne.
