HowToItaly is a dynamic specialist company focusing on helping expats of all ages to create their dream life in Italy. Duo Emma Bird and Mario Berri and their staff combine forces to provide services that are catered to each individual who wishes to live, work and settle into the Bel Paese. Services range from online courses, workshops and relocation management to personal consultations and internships.

The Young Professionals Workshop in Chicago will be held August 25th and will ensure college students and young professionals are prepared for their move aboad. The one-day session will focus on Italian business etiquette, networking your way into a job, avoiding culture clash, interviewing with an Italian boss, starting your own business in Italy, the ins and outs of the Italian labor market, and much, much more.

This one day intensive workshop will allow participants to get valuable information from Mario Berri, who is an Italian business manager, published author and partner in 2 major Italian firms. They will also be coached by an Emma Bird, an English business owner, published author and freelance journalist who has written for a variety of travel magazines and newspapers all over Europe.

In addition, participants will receive email support from both Mario Berri and Emma Bird for the month following their workshop.

Co-director Emma Bird said: “Young Americans have a lot to offer the Italian workplace but they need to understand the Italian labor market and the unique challenges that it presents. We are running these consults and one-day workshop with the express aim of preparing these students and college grads for their international careers.
