BridgeHead Software Certifies JJWild as Platinum Partner

United States Partner Reaches Platinum Status

[ClickPress, Wed Jun 20 2007] BridgeHead Software today announced that JJWild has been elevated to Platinum Partner and has earned certification at this program level. A long and successful relationship between JJWild and BridgeHead has enabled JJWild to become the largest volume partner of BridgeHead backup and disaster recovery products in the healthcare space. The new, enhanced status comes in recognition of JJWild’s extensive expertise and investment in infrastructure and professional services to support BridgeHead Software technology.

Platinum Partner Program Highlights JJWild Stature

Participation at the Platinum level provides recognition of JJWild’s commitment to and investment in BridgeHead’s integrated storage management solutions for the healthcare market. It also authorizes JJWild to provide its customers with a full range of support and implementation services for BridgeHead’s products. In order to achieve Platinum Partner status, JJWild qualified in multiple areas including providing BridgeHead trained sales and technical pre-sales staff, having the capability to demonstrate BridgeHead products, having BridgeHead products configured for interoperability testing in its lab, having accredited installers on staff, having experience with a given level of customers, and being able to resolve at least 80% of support calls from its clients relating to BridgeHead software without reference to BridgeHead. JJWild installers will now be individually accredited on the same program used for BridgeHead’s own staff.

Partnership Helps MEDITECH Market Meet New Disaster Recovery Standard

The BridgeHead-JJWild relationship is based on a mutual commitment to providing solutions for users of the MEDITECH Healthcare Information System (HCIS). Approximately 25% of healthcare organizations in the US and 38% in Canada have deployed the MEDITECH System today. The JJWild and BridgeHead Software partnership, begun in 2003, focuses on the delivery of the Integrated Serverless Backup (ISB) and Integrated Disaster Recovery (IDR) technology to provide advanced data protection and disaster recovery solutions to healthcare organizations using the MEDITECH HCIS software application.

BridgeHead’s ISB and IDR techniques, developed with and specifically for MEDITECH, have been key components in over 100 JJWild installations. The ISB and IDR products from BridgeHead exploit SAN (Storage Area Network) technology and ensure recoverability of MEDITECH data, an important function that is not provided by generic backup products.
