Mayfield School Summer Fete Coming Soon

For cut price cottage garden plants and wildflowers, delicious cakes, tombola, face painting, skittles, hoopla, barbeque, competitions and prizes. Saturday 7 July, 12-2 pm, at Henry Prince School, Mayfield, near Ashbourne.

[ClickPress, Sun Jun 24 2007] Henry Prince First School, in Mayfield, are holding their Summer Fete on July 7 from 12 - 2 pm. This year the fete includes a barbeque cooked by the Parent-Teacher Association - come along for your Saturday lunch. It also features a plant stall with many cottage garden plants and native wildflowers for sale from just 40p a plant.

Always popular is the cake stall plus there will be traditional events such as skittles and hoopla. Add the tombola and raffle and there are plenty of opportunities to win prizes. For the children there is face painting, a toy stall and other activities.

Funds raised by the Fete will buy books for the new school library and refurbish the cloakroom area.

The Fete will be held at the school on Ashbourne Road, Mayfield.
