Dunlop Technical Seminar – Increasing Technical Awareness for customers.

After the success of the ‘Dunlop & Mobil Technicians Meet’ in July last year, Bahrain based Abdulla Yousif Fakhro and Sons (AYF), authorized distributors of Dunlop tyres, hosted yet another Technical Meet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the 27th of May.

[ClickPress, Wed Jun 27 2007] After the success of the ‘Dunlop & Mobil Technicians Meet’ in July last year, Bahrain based Abdulla Yousif Fakhro and Sons (AYF), authorized distributors of Dunlop tyres, hosted yet another Technical Meet at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on the 27th of May. The focus of this meet was the Commercial segment of the market such as Corporate Customers, Institutions etc who utilise the ‘Dunlop Steel Truck and Bus Radial Tyres’. The objective of the meet was to increase the awareness on the technical aspects of Dunlop Tyres, share information and new updates on the product, answer queries and take feedback from the attendees.

The list of invitees included Contracting companies, Fleet operators, Institutional customers and Ministries.

Technical aspects like Air Pressure and Tyre Maintenance were discussed at the initiation of the event that proceeded into the advantages of the ‘Dunlop Steel Truck and Bus Radial Tyres’ like lower rolling resistance, higher puncture resistance and better heat dissipation.

Mr Vilas Deshmukh, Marketing Manager, Dunlop - Bahrain, said “ The aim of holding such informative Technical Seminars is to keep our customers from the Retail and Corporate sectors updated with the new value added benefits of our products. At the same time, having a one-on-one meet helps our customers in having their queries answered on the spot.”

Dunlop officials - Mr Kengo Mitsuda, Liason Representative for Middle East, Dunlop - Japan, Mr Mohammed Ansari, Field Service Manager Middle East, Dunlop - Jeddha and Mr Masaru Tabata, Assistant Manager Middle East, Dunlop - Dubai attended and actively participated in conducting the seminar.
