Italian born Concetta Coppolino has published her first novel, a romance entitled 'A Difficult Situation'.

When the teenage Simona Fiorello is orphaned, she is placed in the care of her aunt, a nun at the Convent Ignatius.

As she grows into a beautiful young woman she is ready to make her own way in the world and jumps at the chance of housekeeping for Father Antonio’s friend. Andrea is described to her as a wealthy landowner and she naturally assumes he is the same age as Father Antonio. What a shock when she finds out Andrea Baglione is not only a wealthy landowner but a devastatingly handsome young man who sets her heart pounding and her thoughts racing. Yet, he seems to take great delight in teasing and embarrassing Simone at every turn.

The path of true love never runs smooth but with the help of the ageing priest, her aunt, and of course, Andrea’s friend and work colleague Francisco, nothing is going to stop Andrea marrying the woman he loves - whatever it costs.

About the author:
Concetta was born in the south of Italy in 1939. She was raised in a small village called Mazzarra S’Andrea which is situated at the foot of one of the many mountains in Sicily.
She was the sixth child of a family of nine children. Married in 1957, she moved to England in 1960 and was then blessed with three children of her own.
She has lived in Cambridge for the last 39 years and, although England is her home now, Sicily is never far from her thoughts and she visits her native home every year.
Concetta enjoys reading and of course writing, the fruit trees and wildlife in her garden, but most of all, she enjoys the company of her five grandchildren.
