Hi Ho Silver, the local retailers of unique silver jewellery have opened a new high street shop in Taunton, Somerset.

The new shop is in a fantastic location at 14 Fore Street and provides customers with a warm and inviting environment for choosing unique items of silver jewellery, aluminium housewares and ecological bags. The new store will carry most of the items you can find online to buy at www.hihosilver.co.uk as well as lots of other lines, including some that are exclusive to this shop.

Since it’s inception in 1995, Hi Ho Silver has grown dramatically and now has 14 high street shops. This latest store represents the future as it incorporates elements of the new store design which will be rolled out across the Company. This has been designed to make the shopping experience more pleasurable for customers, whilst retaining the elements of Hi Ho Silver that customers know and love.

Hi Ho Silver believes in the unique diversity of affordable individuality. This philosophy is integral to the company and underpins the sourcing of hallmarked products, which are all original and handmade by skilled craftspeople in Mexico. An exclusive range has also been designed by the Creative Director, Caroline Reeves. This unique and often exclusive range is regularly updated and rotated amongst the portfolio of shops to ensure that each store is offering something a little different, giving rise to the company ethos of ‘SEE IT, LIKE IT, BUY IT’.



40% of the company’s turnover is being re-invested each year to expand the business and launch innovative product lines. Andrew Ransford, Managing Director and co-founder says “With the recent store opening and the launch of our online shopping facility, we are continuing to strengthen our position as one of the most original retailers of solid silver jewellery in the UK”. Hi Ho Silver plans to open at least 5 more stores in the next two years. Hi Ho Silver was founded by the brother and sister team of Andrew & Caroline Ransford in 1995 and initially started selling at shows and events across the country. Building on this success and customer reactions to the increasing product range, Andrew & Caroline gained the confidence to open their first shop in 2001 in their local town of Lyme Regis. This was swiftly followed by the second in Honiton later in 2001.
