Altair Nanotechnologies Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTI), RBC Dain Rauscher issued a downgrade of the common stock price pertaining to a company covered by its research group

(NASDAQ: ALTI), RBC Dain Rauscher issued a downgrade of the common stock price pertaining to a company covered by its research group. The company, which trades on the NASDAQ Trading System, has a common stock symbol similar to that of Altair’s common stock, ALTI.

Due to the similarity of the stock symbols, the downgrade was inadvertently picked up by various newswire services and disseminated under Altair Nanotechnologies’ common stock symbol ALTI.
