Advertising & Marketing: One Click Away For New U.K Website

One Click Away For New U.K Website

A new website has been developed for the local communities of the U.K. The site, Its Your Network, is looking to focus solely on the image of the area and hopes to give the country the social and economic boost that many people feel it richly deserves.

[ClickPress, Fri Jul 06 2007] Scott Threlfall, owner of the It’s Your Media organisation who created the website, feels that the development will bring the communities together onto the Its Your Network site.

He comments: “What we are hoping to create is a network which is dedicated primarily to the people of their local area and what we hope to see is that many people across the U.K will take a lot more pride in where they currently live or work.”

Its Your Network has included plenty of features on the home page which they believe will target all sections of the local community.

They have introduced a jobs section for people who are looking for a new career or are currently unemployed. They have also decided to introduce a forum link which will enable all users to discuss any issues they may have relating to their local community or even the website itself.

For the younger generation of Internet users, the site will give them the opportunity to play many online games in their spare time.

In addition, there will be a large A-Z Business Directory which will help all users gain quick and easy information access regarding the various business services available to them.

The company believes that, although they may be facing some competition between themselves and the other online community sites, they will have great success in becoming a popular network for local people.

Daniel Jackson, who heads up market research, added: “We have looked at our main competitors in some detail and we believe that, despite the competition, Its Your Network will always have the edge over its main rivals.”

The company also believes that the website will rapidly improve the image of many areas within Lancashire and will eventually make a lot of people realise that many areas in the U.K should not be depicted in a negative way.

Daniel Jackson concluded: “We want the local communities to enjoy and appreciate what our website has to offer.”

It’s Your Media hope that the creation of the website will also see a more cost-effective approach for local businesses who are interested in advertising their product or service online.

Scott Threlfall insists that local businesses who decide to advertise on the website will gain huge advantages.

He says: “Advertising their product on the site will help a lot of local businesses in the country gain an online presence. Therefore, doing this will naturally increase their sales and it will also promote more Internet awareness for other people.”

The site www.itsyourburnley.co.uk will be launched by the end of the month, with 10 more online sites dedicated to other towns of Lancashire due to be finished before the end of this year.
