Interbike and Pedro's Invites Bicycle Retailers to Enjoy VIP Treatment at Pedro's Fest
Retailers to be treated to schwag, music, drinks, hors d'oeuvres and a group ride with well known pro racers attending the event
[ClickPress, Mon Jul 09 2007] Interbike, in conjunction with Pedro’s Total Bicycle Care, invites bicycle retailers and their employees to attend the 13th Annual Pedro's Mountain Bike Festival in Hancock, Massachusetts July 13-15, 2007 and receive special VIP treatment.
“Without the guys and gals on the shop floor, the industry doesn't have legs to stand on,” said Lance Camisasca, Interbike's show director. “Interbike and Pedro's would like to say, ‘Thanks!’ and show our appreciation by inviting them to attend this year's Pedro's Fest where we will give them special shop employee-exclusive VIP treatment.”
During the festival retailers will be treated to
• Express festival check-in,
• Pedro’s and Interbike Schwag,
• A Shop Guy and Gal-Only Ride on Saturday morning, July 14th, to be led by a well known professional racer and
• The Dealer Reception Cocktail Hour on Saturday, July 14th, at 6:00 p.m., which will have music, drinks and hors d'oeuvres.
The first 50 retail employees (plus one guest) to register will receive free admission, courtesy of Pedro's. For the next 50 retail employees (plus one guest), admission will be $25 - half the regular admission price. After the initial 100 retail registrants, five employees can register for $55 each and the 6th employee is free. The first 100 shop employees to arrive at the festival will receive a "Free Love" schwag bag of Pedro’s products, including new 2008 sustainable products debuting at the festival and Interbike branded items.

This year Pedro’s Fest will be held in a new location, the Apple Tree Hill Organic Farm on Route 43 in Hancock, Massachusetts, right in the heart of the Berkshire forest. As in years past, the festival will have rides and events for everyone including downhillers, XC riders and road riders. There will be an Environmental Expo, as well as live broadcast of the Tour de France on site. Some of the pro riders expected to attend are cross-country racers Alison Dunlap and Sue Haywood, and trials rider Jeff Lenosky, to name a few.
