South Shore Elder Services’ “Aging is Everyone’s Future”
Conference for seniors and their families a great success!
[ClickPress, Wed Jul 11 2007] South Shore Elder Services recent “Aging is Everyone’s Future - Let’s get there in great shape!” conference held at Lombardos in Randolph with special guest speaker Wayne Westcott, Ph.D., CSCS, Fitness Research Director of the South Shore YMCA Quincy was a terrific success. More than 200 attended and 40 vendors were on hand to discuss exercise, financial planning, long term care insurance, housing options, medical service, health care needs and more with attendees.
Maintaining physical, financial, and mental wellness was the theme for this year’s conference and workshops were led by Joanie Winberg, a Certified Laughter Coach; Diane McCafferty of the Alzheimer’s Association and Cynthia Mark from Greater Boston Legal Services.
