Price comparison site launches new range of 56 FREE walking maps, available to download as part of its summer Family Active programme

[ClickPress, Mon Jul 23 2007] Families are being encouraged to explore the British countryside on foot this summer, with car hire price comparison site Carrentals.co.uk teaming up with walking specialist Go4awalk.com to offer 56 free maps of walks across the UK.

Part of the Carrentals.co.uk Family Active 2007 campaign, the walks vary from summer strolls to adventure hikes, all selected to offer something for all abilities.

From the Scottish Highlands to the Welsh Valleys, the Lake District to the West Country, all maps come with easy to follow instructions and information on the distance, ascent, time, plus a difficulty grading. The maps are also provided with a commentary to support each route.

The maps can be downloaded from www.carrentals.co.uk/familyactive2007, with each walk categorised by individual UK regions.
