[ClickPress, Wed Jul 25 2007] The New York Sun today announced that Julie Satow is joining the paper as editor of the Real Estate and Business sections. Satow previously worked for The Sun before joining Crain’s New York Business in 2005, where she covered commercial real estate.
Ms. Satow graduated Columbia College and achieved her Master’s Degree in International Affairs from Columbia University. She began her journalism career in Jerusalem where she worked as a freelance writer and editor for an English-language travel magazine. She then spent several years at Institutional Investor as both a reporter and a managing editor before joining The New York Sun, where she started the paper’s real estate beat. Most recently, Satow was a Senior Reporter at Crain’s New York Business, where she wrote a weekly commercial real estate column.
“I am thrilled to be with The Sun at a time when I can build on the excellent foundations that have already been established here. This is where I cut my teeth, and it is great to be back,” said Ms. Satow. “I am looking forward to bolstering our already solid reputation of quality reporting, and plan to continue our tradition of excellent commercial and residential real estate coverage. I also look forward to increasing our reporting on all the business news that drives New York City.”
The previous Business and Real Estate editor, David Lombino, will continue as City Editor.
