South Shore Elder Services to Hold Caregiving 101 Seminars

South Shore Elder Services will hold FREE “Caregiving 101” seminars for family caregivers in August, September and October at their executive offices located at 159 Bay State Drive in Braintree.

[ClickPress, Mon Jul 30 2007] Presented in conjunction with the Family Caregiver Support Program, the Caregiver 101 seminars are scheduled for:

• August 15, 2007 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
• September 19, 2007 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
• October 31, 2007 from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

The seminars will provide information on community resources, support and respite services for elders and their families, as well as provide successful strategies for managing elder care planning and facilitating family decision making.

All attendees will receive a Caregiver 101 manual and resource and care planning booklet. In addition to gaining knowledge about successful strategies for managing elder care planning and family decision making,.
