[ClickPress, Tue Aug 28 2007] The Norfolk Tourism website, containing a wealth of information on the local area, has created a new ‘Guide to the Market Towns’ section of the site to help holidaymakers find out more about the local places to visit and stay.

The guide has been designed to give visitors a comprehensive list of places to visit and things to do in Norfolk’s market towns.

“This will be a really useful addition to the site, and a great reference for people who are staying close to towns in the county,” said Crispian Emberson, Director of Norfolk Tourism. “Market towns are often the life-blood of the local community and you can learn all out the history and heritage of a whole area by spending a few hours in a museum or simply admiring the local buildings.”

Norfolk’s market towns are amongst some of the most picturesque places to visit in the UK. The range of experiences on offer in the towns includes dragon boat racing, fine dining, important historical sites, medieval churches, cobbled streets and timbered buildings.
