Innovative Drag and Drop Shopping Functionality attracts Britain’s Top Retailers to join launch of hot new fashion and friends site.

[ClickPress, Mon Sep 10 2007] OSOYOU.com the UK’s first ever social shopping site for women, launches its beta site today supported by Britain’s top three retailer groups, giving women their first taste of social shopping heaven.

OSOYOU.com is the first site to combine two of women’s favourite pastimes – shopping and socialising – by providing a social networking site, dedicated to the art of shopping.

The new website allows cyber shoppers to browse their favourite stores via a ‘virtual high-street’, which includes the best ranges on offer from both designer fashion and the high-street. The UK’s top three retailers Marks & Spencer, the Arcadia Group (Dorothy Perkins, Evans) and Mosaic (Oasis, Warehouse, Principles) are all confirmed partners, along with the likes of Sweaty Betty, Kurt Geiger, Figleaves and Mywardrobe.com, to name a few.

In a world first, OSOYOU’s functionality includes an innovative ‘drag and drop’ shopping Hanger that allows users to drag their favourite items from retailers’ websites and drop them in to a virtual scrapbook, thus creating the ultimate shopping wish list to refer to whilst browsing.

Users will also be able to review, rate and comment on each other’s chosen items, building a viral, peer to peer referral environment within the site.
