The 4Site Web Monitor is a nationally representative, monthly online monitor of 3,000 UK residents that includes a value-based market segmentation designed to predict online behaviour. The benefit for Arkenford’s customers is a new and enhanced perspective of online consumer behaviour based on values and purchase motivations. This allows clients to better target potential customers online.
Based on survey results, consumers are grouped into differing segments depending on their online behaviour, attitudes to the internet and life values. Consumers’ behaviour provides seven distinct segments, and their attitudes and values provide five more; creating a unique matrix of 35 different types of online consumers. By tracking how these different types of consumers behave online, online marketers are able to better target their advertising spend.
