[ClickPress, Wed Sep 12 2007] The Waterfront Conference Centre and Robinson Executive Conference Centre at Wyboston Lakes have become accredited members of the Institute of IT Training (IITT). The IITT is the world’s first professional body for IT training that exists to continuously raise standards of professionalism within the IT training industry.
As part of the accreditation process, the IITT carried out an in-depth assessment of Wyboston Lakes’ facilities and support services to ensure that they conformed to their exacting standards and requirements.
Clive Bache, sales and marketing director at Wyboston Lakes’, explained the relevance of the quality mark, “This accreditation helps to reaffirm our commitment to quality and our desire to continuously focus on the requirements of our customers. It is a sign of excellence within the IT industry and signifies that our facilities are of the highest standards and meet the specific codes of practice that form the basis of the IITT philosophy. It is also recognised as the ‘de facto’ standard in IT training and is now a requirement for the majority of training tenders in both the public and private sectors.”
Since their accreditation, Wyboston Lakes has already received an increase in enquiries for training and conference facilities from the IT industry.
Editor’s notes:
Wyboston Lakes is set in a 350-acre rural site near St Neots, midway between Cambridge and Bedford and is the largest privately owned conference venue in northern Europe.
