SUCCESSFUL REFURBISHMENT PROJECT ON BEHALF OF GREAT PORTLAND ESTATES WINS PRAISE FOR CNP

Completion of a rolling refurbishment project, on time and on budget, in London’s busy West End, has notched up another project management success for CNP, one of the UK’s leading specialist building and project consultants.



Undertaking the project for Great Portland Estates (GPE) to refurbish Kent House, a 1930’s, 9-storey building in Market Place, in the heart of the London’s West End, CNP’s project management team ensured GPE achieved their business objective by establishing new rentals in the area, in excess of £70 per sq ft, with full take-up of the building now achieved.



The 9-month project presented a number of significant challenges. Particularly with respect to managing the refurbishment of the reception, common areas and offices, including restructuring the cores, whilst the building remained partly occupied throughout the entire project. Undaunted by the constraints of a difficult site, CNP ensured the successful completion on time and within budget.
