100% pass rate for training delegates

The first delegates to take ITIL Foundation, Version 3 - IT service management training - through specialist training provider, AIM Academy, have been celebrating following an impressive 100% pass rate.

[ClickPress, Wed Oct 17 2007] The first delegates to take ITIL Foundation, Version 3 - IT service management training - through specialist training provider, AIM Academy, have been celebrating following an impressive 100% pass rate.

Changes made to the examination structure and the content – extending the breadth and depth of the syllabus – have meant that, while core ITIL messages remain the same, more emphasis is now placed on aligning the goals and objectives of service management with overall business strategy and other best practice disciplines.

“This revised syllabus is not as prescriptive as Version 2 but, as it requires a minimum of 18 hours study, we have continued to deliver it as a three day course,” says Emma Nixon, training services manager at AIM Academy. “We have taken advantage of being able to develop course material according to the needs of our customers and this flexibility has meant that content is more relevant to those sitting the exam; something I believe to have significantly affected the pass rate,” Emma concludes.
