Funding injection for Warrington based Better Bathrooms means more growth is a given

Better Bathrooms has been assigned £1.4 million from Barclays Bank to help finance its rapid expansion plans. This will allow the company to keep moving forward while its competitors fall behind.

The agreement, which was reported recently in the Manchester Evening News, is good news for the local economy too. Better Bathrooms is based in Glazebury, near Warrington, with showrooms in Wigan, Warrington and Manchester: its expansion plans should see a move in the near future to a more spacious site where there will be scope to employ a larger workforce and grow its existing customer base.

The company has grown rapidly since its birth in 2001. The opening, in summer 2010, of its huge Manchester store with its dedicated tile showroom was a defining moment in the story of Better Bathrooms: "It is a fantastic destination store, one of which we are all very proud". The company has recently celebrated ‘a Decade of Discounted Prices’ with a huge sale and is now looking forward to its next decade.

Managing Director Colin Stevens puts the success of Better Bathrooms, a family business, down to a strong work ethic and a committed and enthusiastic buying and design team.
