[ClickPress, Wed Nov 21 2007] Chemique Adhesives and Sealants Ltd, pioneers in the development of solvent free polyurethane adhesives have just introduced a start-up solution to adhesive users within the panel manufacturing industry.
Dedicated to the ongoing development of innovative systems, Chemique’s engineers have specifically developed the portable spray (PSS) and portable bead systems (PBS) for application of Solfre2 adhesives.
Both compact adhesive application systems provide a low cost solution for adhesive application for start-up, single gun, low and mid volume users. Extremely versatile, the PSS can be used as a dispensing device for use with hard rollers or with a spray gun for a quicker, lower weight coating of adhesive.
“These systems mean anyone can use Solfre2 two component polyurethane in the production process, achieving the benefits these adhesives offer” said Tony McMullen, Commercial Director “ The low cost of the equipment allows end users to integrate this into their production process without high investment in an automated production line.”
To ensure that the adhesive can be applied to irregular and flat surfaces, the PSS guns are fitted with adjustable heads to allow spray in a round of flat pattern.
The low maintenance PSS and PBS comes in a package consisting of an easy to use control panel, two-component spray/ bead gun, electrically driven gear pump and pressure feed container to flush the system after use and all together works perfectly in partnership with all of the Solfre2 range of adhesives.
